M.D., M.P.H. field an audience question from Les Jacobs, Las Vegas, NV.
On Tuesday June 8th, Center clients and caregivers were
joined by Health and Human Services Regional Director: Herb Schultz and
Acting Assistant HHS Secretary: LCDR Garth Graham, M.D., M.P.H. at a
watch party for a national tele-town hall meeting tele-cast from the
Holiday Park Multipurpose Senior Center in Wheaton, Maryland. Senior
citizens had the opportunity to discuss the Affordable Care Act and
efforts to combat senior scams and fraud in advance of the first mailing
of the $250 "donut hole" rebate checks.
The live C-Span broadcast featured President Obama, HHS Secretary
Kathleen Sebelius and representatives of a variety of organizations
including: AARP, Bnai Brith, Easter Seals, and National Council on
Aging.
The Adult Day Care Center of Las Vegas is proud to offer our clients
